Day one
Training starts before the credentials do
T-Mobile setup takes days. CLEAR has to finish, then credentials take a couple of business days to arrive. A new RCLX rep gets their FiberPitch login on day one, usually before CLEAR is done, so those days become training days instead of waiting.
The course runs on the rep's phone. Setup jobs show up beside it one at a time, when each is due, so the rep is never handed the whole chain at once.
Setup
Stuck is a tap
Every setup step is one screen. The YubiKey walkthrough covers the four screens where Microsoft's sign-in tends to trip people up, and every step has a Stuck sheet that says what to do next. If that is not enough, tapping Stuck tells the manager which step and which day, and the help button says Call your manager.
One RCLX rep found a faster way through the key setup, with the phone holding the pass and the computer in a private window. It is in the walkthrough now as its own path.
The pitch
Learning from real doors
- 01
Real doors, not a script on a page
The course teaches from 22 conversations filmed at real doors, with faces and house numbers blurred and captions added. Each of the 12 practice doors follows one of them in its real order.
- 02
Say it out loud first
On every practice question the rep says their line out loud before the choices appear. In role-play, the homeowner's line plays from the film, the rep answers, then hears what was really said and grades themselves. Lines marked Not yet come back first next time.
- 03
Hear any line at the door
Every line on the cheat sheet has a Hear it button that plays the moment it was said at a real door. Words new reps trip on, like coax, easement and pre-schedule, can be tapped for a plain explanation.
- 04
Start where you are
At sign-up the course asks if the rep has knocked doors before. A brand-new rep, a door-to-door rep new to fiber, and a rep who has sold fiber each start in a different place.
- 05
In Spanish, one tap away
Every lesson and every film's captions. RCLX hires reps in the Rio Grande Valley, where many reps learn best in Spanish.
Fair
Effort that shows
RCLX uses time on the course to judge who is putting in the work, so the course counts it carefully. A film counts with real playing time behind it, across sittings, and still counts at double speed. The orientation video keeps the clock running while it plays. A rep who is working hard and stuck on a setup screen no longer looks the same as a rep who went quiet.
The course leaves out prices and promotions, which change. Nothing a rep learns goes out of date, and they get today's price from their manager.
The finish line
Done means the manager heard it
The last step is Pitch it live: the whole pitch, opener to close, to the rep's own manager, who taps Passed on the board. When a rep is done, they have already given the full pitch to the person who sends them to the field. Then the manager hands them turf and targets.
Some reps go quiet and come back. A rep taken off the roster can be brought back where they left off, or back to the start for a real second run.
